This works as intended, but you have to strap your watch to it and buckle it in (like you put it on your wrist). Although not difficult, it is not as easy as the quick release unit that I intended to purchase.
I have one on all 3 of my bikes and it makes it easy to use my Garmin on each one.
I am quite happy with this item. Works as advertised. Arrived in a timely fashion. The shipping was a bit high.
Bought 3 of these for my bikes to mount my Garmin Forerunner 305. Each comes with mount and 4 zip ties. It worked on my bikes with round handlebars but wasn't compatible with my FSA K-Wing handlebar, which was flat at the mount point. Amazon has the lowest price but $10 for a piece of plastic and some ties is kind of expensive.
I'm only writing this review because Amazon asked. I use it on a mountain bike where it gets lots of abuse. The bike mount works fine. I haven't had any problems with it. It has never lost the Forerunner except when I have hit it with my body in a fall. I can't blame that on the mount - I shouldn't be hitting it.
